The Nevada Digital Learning Collaborative was created to identify and address the digital needs of our families, educators, and students throughout Nevada.
- We are building a new system in Nevada that is long-lasting and can be replicated by any state across our nation.
- This is a collaborative effort between the Nevada Department of Education, digital experts we call digital engineers: teachers, administrators, and coaches, and our Regional Professional Development Program partners.
- This amazing group supports the following “bucket” areas: devices, content and curriculum, professional learning, and people.
- The team ensures all stakeholders have access to effective digital instruction with high-quality, standards-aligned resources and sets the stage for continued learning through digital means by building a state network of digital ambassadors.
- We must remember that digital learning is not an if but a critical component of daily instruction, either in a school building or ANY other educational setting. This instructional shift will impact student achievement as they become future-ready and globally prepared members of their community.
